CPU swapping is for people who have a working console with a broken drive, bought a console of eBay with a bad drive, exploitable console that has rrod and unfix able, etc.
What you will need for a CPU swap
- a working console ( by working it means that it boots to the console dash board )
- an exploitable or non exploitable ( if non exploitable you must have your dvd key or drive) non exploitable dvd key does not matter.
- Booting console must have the same region code on the cpu ex: China to China, Taiwan to Taiwan, Canada to Canada
What is involved in a CPU swap
- The CPU is removed from the non working console deballed, reballed and ready for reattaching, the nand is dumped the board is thrown away..
- The working Consoles CPU is removed from the motherboard, and thrown away
- The working consoles motherboard is deballed cleaned all the traces are inspected 100% for any defects before process begins.
- The nand from the dead console is written to the new console NO A COPY OF NAND IS NOT PROVIDED DUE TO LEGALITY REASONS
- CPU from dead console is aligned and reattached to the working motherboard.
- The Console is ran through a stress test for 4 hrs to make sure everything is proper before shipping.
- Your console will boot to the stock dashboard NO MODS OR HACKS
Consoles has a 90 day warranty as long as our seal is not removed or tampered with in any way
