Playstation 3 Reflows
PlayStation 3 Yellow/Red Light Repair Service

The PlayStation 3, just like an Xbox 360, uses a BGA (Ball Grid Array) chip for all the components inside the unit. These BGA solders will become loose when the temperature becomes too high and will start to detach from the motherboard, and this can also be causes from excessive motherboard flexing .
Luckily, the PlayStation 3 will stop itself when it detects a error with the video chip and will not be too severe to repair.
In order to repair this problem, we will have to disassemble the PS3 to it's core and heat up the entire board, but more importantly the graphic processor.
It is important that you DO NOT use a heat gun or hairdryer to attempt to fix this because concentrated heating of the board may cause it will warp, and cause more damage to the motherboard and you could very easily ruin it
We use a state of the art BGA Reword machine with very carefully controlled top and bottom heater in order to even and precisely repair the affected area.
The equipment we use is fully computerized and has many different profiles for use with many different applications.
