What causes Red Ring Of Death?


Your GPU, CPU, Ram, NANA, HANA, & or South bridge has a broken link someplace between the chip and the motherboard and needs to be re flowed ( heated 10 degrees Celsius above the melting point of the lead free solder) it is preformed with a state of the art machine that will control the temperature within 1 degree Celsius not a run of the mill heat gun

What is Reflow?

Re flowing is the process of re-soldering the processors to the motherboard repairing the microscopic cracks that cause the CPU and GPU chips to lose contact though heating and cooling cycles All of our automated BGA Chip rework is done exclusively with Dark Infrared technology and custom rework profiles we have developed and have proven to be highly successful. Dark Infrared technology is the absolute best option for successful BGA chip repairs. Since Dark IR lamps are square just like the chips, the energy completely envelopes the target chip so there are no uneven coverage issues which can be associated with standard round IR lamp systems.

Reflow works by penetrating the processor chips with direct and powerful IR heat energy using precession temperature control and timing to re solder the chips original connections to the motherboard caused by motherboard warping through heating and cooling cycles creating the loose connections due to flawed manufacturing techniques which are the root cause of the Xbox 360 RROD errors.

Not every Xbox 360 is repairable through Reflow. If your unit is unopened and no previous repair attempts have been made we can guarantee there is a 99% chance that your system is repairable as long as it powers on if the console has been opened and tampered with or heat gunned then it will most likely need to be re balled

The more tampering involved the less likely your system will be repairable since unprofessional repair attempts can result in the system being damage beyond repair.

If we do receive your system and find it is not repairable. We will return it to you and issue a full repair rate refund minus a one way shipping charge, and inspection charge of $20.

Please don’t even bother inquiring or sending a unit that you know has been tampered with, heat gunned, software bricked or abused. If that's the case then a re flow will not work most times it needs to be re balled, or Just buy a replacement .

 

  • Re-Flow includes the following
  • One or all of the following will be re flowed to repair your console and get it back in tip top shape,
  • GPU, CPU, HANA, NANA, RAM, South bridge.
  • CPU & GPU heat sink will be lapped to assure that it is perfectly flat and their is 100% thermal transfer.
  • Artic Cooling MX2 thermal paste will be installed on both CPU, GPU, and 2 Ram chips, the stock xclamp
  • will be replace with a design that will not flex under heat.

Please make sure that you provide contact information with your shipment though i can repair almost any problem with the console i lack the ability to read minds so i have no idea who you are without this information, especially when you use a ups store or something along them lines of shipping.

You're console is not the only one i repair i receive anywhere from 10 - 15 consoles for repair a day and without this information it does nothing but prolong the repair and or recovery of your console, so simply put a copy of your receipt in the box with your console if paying with money order make sure you include email and return shipping address at a minimum
